duneGrass Shawl – Knitting Pattern
duneGrass is a little pattern I worked up for my local yarn store. When I sat down to create this pattern I had *zero* shawl knitting experience. I’ve never owned a shawl or envisioned myself wearing one. Now that I have worked on this piece I am positive that I will be making & designing more of them.
The shawl is worked using brioche knitting techniques but all the stitches are explained in regular knitting lingo. So even someone new to brioche will be able to pick up this pattern and understand it. The brioche style allows you to work up a delicate yarn with larger needles to create a beautiful lacy fabric that is still dense enough to provide warmth.
